Access your Windows 365 Cloud PC
This article is to assist you in accessing your Microsoft 365 Cloud PC.

You can access your Windows 365 Cloud PC in two different ways:
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Application (recommended)
- Browser windows365.microsoft.com
Requirements
To access your Cloud PC from a browser, your device must meet the following requirements:
- Supported operating systems: Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux
- A modern browser like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, or Mozilla Firefox (v55.0 and later).

Access Windows 365 Cloud PC via Microsoft Remote Desktop for the first time
Navigate to windows365.microsoft.com
Sign in using your O365 credentials
When connecting via Microsoft Remote Desktop for the first time you will select the icon in the upper left corner of the windows365.microsoft.com home page.
Select and install the appropriate Microsoft Remote Desktop application for your device.
Note: You may have to select the dropdown menu to select the correct version or be redirected to the Apple Store for Mac application installation
Download and open the file when its ready
Follow the Remote Desktop Setup Wizard to complete the setup
When the set up is complete select Next > Done
After install, navigate to the Windows 365 Cloud PC Home menu by selecting the Home icon in the upper left corner.
Access Windows 365 Cloud PC via Remote Desktop App
Navigate to windows365.microsoft.com home page.
Select the dropdown next to Open in browser and select Open in Remote Desktop app
Verify that you would like to open the Windows 365 Cloud PC in the Remote Desktop App
Select the check box next to “Always allow windows365.microsoft.com to open links of this type in the associated app”. Select Open.
Windows 365 will prompt you to sign in.
Sign in using your O365 credentials
For security, you will be prompted again to verify your credentials
You are now logged into your Windows 365 Cloud PC via Remote Desktop App
Access Windows 365 Cloud PC via Windows 365 website
Navigate to windows365.microsoft.com
Sign in using your O365 credentials
On the Windows 365 Home Page, you will see the Windows 365 Cloud PC(s) you have access to in the Your Cloud PCs section
You can select Open in browser to open your Cloud PC.
Note: Mobile devices aren’t currently supported for using a browser to open Cloud PC. The Remote Desktop app is supported.
Select the In Session Settings you would like enabled. Select Connect
If you would like to keep these selections, select Don’t show again
You will be prompted to enter your credentials one more time to login. After entering your Credentials, select Sign In.
You are now logged into your Windows 365 Cloud PC via browser
Tips & User Actions:
While on windows365.microsoft.com, you can take actions on your Cloud PCs by selecting the gear icon on a Cloud PC card.
Rename: Changes the name of the Cloud PC shown to the user on the web site. This action won’t affect any name in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory, on the device, or in the Remote Desktop Apps.
Reset:
- Reinstalls Windows (with the option to choose between Windows 11 and Windows 10).
- Removes your personal files.
- Removes any changes you made to settings.
- Removes your apps.
Important: Before resetting your Cloud PC, make sure to back up any important files you need to keep to a cloud storage service or external storage. Resetting your Cloud PC will delete these files.
Restart: Restarts the Cloud PC.
Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and attempt to resolve any issues that may be preventing a user from connecting to their Cloud PC. The checks run include:
- Check whether any files or agents required for connectivity are correctly installed.
- Make sure that the Azure resources are available

No issues detected | None of the checks discovered an issue with the Cloud PC. |
Issues resolved | An issue was detected and fixed. |
Can’t connect to Cloud PC. We’re working to fix it, try again later. | A Microsoft service required for connectivity is unavailable. Try connecting again later. |
We couldn’t fix issues with your Cloud PC. Contact your administrator. | An issue was detected but it couldn't be fixed. This issue exists because of an ongoing Windows update or another issue. If this error persists for an extended period of time, the Cloud PC may need to be reset. |
