How to Export and Import Bookmarks in Google Chrome

To save your bookmarks and make them transferable and accessible later, Goggle Chrome lets you put them into an HTML document. 

 

Export Chrome Bookmarks

Start by opening Chrome. 

In the top- right corner, click the three vertical dots More  .

Hover you mouse over Bookmarks, revealing another drop-down list.  Select Bookmark Manager.

In the new Bookmarks Manager Tab select the three vertical dots More in the top right corner

Select Export Bookmarks

A “Save As” window will appear asking where you want to save the HTML file.  You can edit the files name and save it somewhere you can file it (I.E. OneDrive)

 Import HTML Bookmarks into Chrome

Start by opening Chrome. 

In the top- right corner, click the three vertical dots More  .

Select Import Bookmarks

The “Open” window will appear.  Select the HTML file you would like to Import.
